Dan has developed a diverse and exceptional private law practice in the past 15 years, providing legal representation to businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals in a wide spectrum of areas from contract and general business disputes to estate planning for individuals.

Dan also possesses a strong knowledge of municipal government law having first been elected to the Ross Township Board of Commissioners in Ross Township, Pennsylvania, in 1999.  He currently began serving his fifth term as a Ross Township Commissioner January 2016.

As a Ross Commissioner, Dan eliminated patronage from the Public Works Department, saved taxpayers millions of dollars by instituting a professionalized pavement management program, and fought to keep taxes in Ross Township among the lowest in Allegheny County.

Dan has continued to serve for over 10 years as a Trustee on the Board of Trustees of the Northland Public Library, and previously served as a Director for the Local Government Academy, and as a founding officer and Chairman of the Congress of Neighboring Communities (CONNECT).
